• The heater must be mounted in a well ventilated area. There must be at least a 0.25m clearing between the heater and ceilings / roofs
• There must be at least a 0.5m clearing between the heater and adjacent walls / fabrics
• There must be at least a 1.8m clearing between the bottom edge of the heater and the floor

The 2 power leads enable the heater to be plugged into two separate 13A sockets on different circuits. It is advisable to consult an electrician to determine your situation. Depending on your electrical wiring this heater may need to be hard wired into a 32A fused spur rather than plugged into two separate standard 13A socket.

When using a Fatboy heater in commercial premises or other locations where the heaters are used continuously for very long periods of time then it is advisable to consult an electrician. Any powerful heater used for very long periods of time may need to be hard wired into a 20A fused spur rather than using the standard 13A socket.
