The Shadow FatBoy Double Patio Heater is the perfect patio heater for larger spaces or somewhere where mounting multiple longer heaters is an issue. The infrared heat provided by short wave lamps heat objects rather than the air so it isn't a problem if the wind is blowing as the stunning heat performance will not be lost. The Shadow FatBoy is also IP65 rated so rainproof and suitable for mounting in most outdoor environments.

• The heater must be mounted in a well ventilated area. There must be at least a 0.5m clearing between the heater and ceilings / roofs
• There must be at least a 0.5m clearing between the heater and adjacent walls / fabrics
• There must be at least a 1.8m clearing between the bottom edge of the heater and the floor; however, we recommend 3m

When using a Fatboy heater in commercial premises or other locations where the heaters are used continuously for very long periods of time then it is advisable to consult an electrician. Any powerful heater used for very long periods of time may need to be hard wired into a 20A fused spur rather than using the standard 13A socket.
